Roger Tarry
The name Roger Tarry has been synonymous with tender bittersweet melancholy and light countrified tunes since 2002.
His debut EP "It's Not You" was a triumph of intimate recording attracting airplay from legendary Radio 1 DJ Steve Lamacq prompting listener feedback on the quality and extraordinary beauty of his performance. In addition to national radio, Roger has been played on local stations including Bristol's renowned Star 107 FM, where his track "Walk with me" was followed immediately with the words "beautiful, beautiful, beautiful" from presenters Gary Smith and Richard Pitt. Proving they can spot a good thing the song was snapped up in 2004 by Sony Pictures TV and has been used on the hit TV series Dawson's Creek in their Season 4 DVD set, on the episode called "Hopeless".

Summer 2006 promises further UK festival appearances, and Roger will also be performing a cover of a Nick Drake song for a forthcoming film. As his album continues to attract interest from industry and radio alike this is surely an artist on the verge of something really quite extraordinary. The release of "Last Time I Was There" on Dandyland Records gives Roger the chance to do what he does best make fans in new places.
